When creating a signature please keep in mind that we will not tolerate signatures that contain derogatory or hurtful words/phrases. Also, users that have signatures that are too large (more than 100px in height) will be asked to modify them. Try to keep signatures to just a few simple sentences.
Images are not allowed in signatures.
To edit your signature, go to Profile > Edit Profile > PersonalInstead of using HTML, ProBoards uses something called BBCode, which makes it easier to edit and stylize text. Rather than using < or > to denote a style, BBCode uses brackets [ and ] Some common codes for changing your signature are as follows: - Bold[b] Bold Signature [/b] - Italics[i] Italicized Signature [/i] - Strikethrough[strike] Stricken Signature [/strike] - Centered
[div align= "center"]Centered Signature[/div]
- Font Color[font color ="######"] Colored Signature [/div] The hex code for font colors does NOT contain a hash-tag, so rather than ="# FFFFFF" for white, it would just be ="FFFFFF"- Font Size[font size ="1-7"] Sized Font [/font] The standard size for text is "2", which is 10pt. Size 1" is 8pt, "3" is 12pt, "4" is 14, "5" is 18, "6" is 24pt, and "7" is 36pt. Please do not use unreasonable font sizes. Your signature should be no more than 100px in height.

Adding Character Links Adding character links to your signature is relatively easy, but you will need to have already made a Character Sheet for them. Start first by changing the font size, color, or decoration, which is shown in the previous post. In the center of these tags, we will add a Character Name and the link to their character sheet, as shown: [div align="center"][font size="1"][a href="URL OF CHARACTER SHEET"] Character Name [/a][/font][/div] To place the Character Link beneath your signature, we must add a break line, which is simply br within brackets. I would show you, however for some reason the code display box also registers it as a break line. The example is: Signature TextCharacter Name[div align ="center"][font color="ec5959"]Signature Text[/font] br in brackets [a href="url of charactersheet"] Character Name][/a] You will not be able to change the color of links in your signature, and for this I am sorry. If you prefer to have your Character Link not centered beneath your signature, simply change: div align = "center" to div align= "right" or "div align ="left"
It is not like stage directions, so right is to your physical right, and left is to your physical left. This always confuses me so I figured I would let all of you know as well.
